Timeline

Textile artists’ group Free Will has been active for 20 years now. A lot has changed, in textile art too: the background system altered, which changed the motivation of artists and in the way contemporary carpet is conceptualised. Exhibition “Timeline” focuses on the near past through three-dimensional visuals, photography and video fragments. What will happen in the near future? How will the forthcoming digital era change the textile art with it’s unique and traditional skills?
