{"id":7322,"date":"2024-09-20T21:24:08","date_gmt":"2024-09-20T18:24:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/trtr.ee\/?p=7322"},"modified":"2024-09-20T21:25:43","modified_gmt":"2024-09-20T18:25:43","slug":"the-triennials-graphic-design-highlights-experimentation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trtr.ee\/en\/the-triennials-graphic-design-highlights-experimentation\/","title":{"rendered":"The Triennial&#8217;s graphic design highlights experimentation"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"bt_rc_container\"><p>20\/09\/2024<\/p>\n<p><strong>The graphic design for the 2024 Tallinn Applied Art Triennial titled The Fine Lines of Constructiveness was created by <span style=\"color: #ffff00;\"><a style=\"color: #ffff00;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.laurapappa.biz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Laura Pappa<\/a><\/span> and highlights the courage and joy of experimentation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For me, the theme of the Triennial evoked the beginning stages of any creative process, which from a designer&#8217;s point of view is often the most exciting stage,&#8221; said Laura Pappa about her inspirations. &#8220;I associate the title of the exhibition \u2013 the fine lines of constructiveness \u2013 with keywords like experimentation, temporal, volatile, seeking, experimentation. Above all, I wanted the design to have an experimental and dynamic character.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The design elements feature collages of the artworks displayed at the exhibition, foregrounding the diversity of materials, techniques and approaches in contemporary craft.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The selection of artworks is exciting and eclectic, which is why I was curious to create a symbiosis of different works and shapes,&#8221; added Pappa.<\/p>\n<p>Laura Pappa is a graphic designer based in Amsterdam.
