7th Tallinn Applied Art Triennial<\/span><\/h2><\/div>
OPEN CALL<\/div><\/header><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Submitting proposals for the satellite programme is now closed!<\/strong> The team of the 7th Tallinn Applied Art Triennial invites artists<\/strong>, designers<\/strong>, art historians<\/strong> and curators<\/strong>, but also students<\/strong> of those fields to submit proposals and ideas for the satellite programme of the 2017 triennial. The triennial takes place from 21\u00a0April to 23 July, 2017. The theme of the main exhibition taking place in the Estonian Museum of Applied Art and Design is \u201cAjavahe, Time Difference\u201d with its focus on concepts of time, tempo, different modes and ideas of time.<\/p>\n<\/div>

What we are looking for<\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/header>

5441 people visited the main exhibition and the satellite programme of the last triennial. We aim to offer a diverse and fascinating programme to visitors of the triennial both from Estonia and outside the country. In addition to the main exhibition a seminar, presentations by artists included in the show and various educational programmes will take place as well. It would be great to open artists\u2019 studios<\/strong> to the public \u2013 from previous experience it is clear that a wider audience is very interested in artists\u2019 working spaces, their creative process and art. It would also be fitting to organize applied art exhibition<\/strong> in galleries or other temporary exhibition spaces while the triennial is taking place. The triennial\u2019s team of organisers welcomes various interventions<\/strong> in the city and during events, student projects<\/strong> and everything else that would connect to the triennial.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The organisers of the triennial will compile all the events into a joint programme and will promote the events via the triennial\u2019s channels (website, social media, newsletter, print materials, invitations), however, please keep in mind that the Tallinn Applied Art Triennial Society is unable to offer funding.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
